Annastézhaa is a singer, harpist, producer and composer originally from Denver, Colorado, entering a new chapter of her
life and musical career.

Writing, recording, producing, and performing her own original music, Annastézhaa approaches the harp as a lead
instrument rather than auxiliary, exploring the full harmonic and rhythmic capabilities of the pedal harp beyond the basic
arpeggios and glissandi it is so often limited to in modern music. Her work draws from the rhythmic language of J Dilla
and Jungle drum production, to the orchestral imagination of Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, the spontaneity and formal
possibilities of classical chamber music, and the mathematical and harmonic intricacy of jazz and fusion.

Whether performing solo or alongside live musicians, Annastézhaa performs original compositions with accompaniment
ranging from layered electronic and recorded instrumentation to full-band or ensemble arrangements. Her forthcoming
album, Sskysswanss Vol. 1, is the first chapter of a larger musical story told across multiple works. Maximalist in sound
and expansive in its imagination, the album brings together harp, voice, electronic production, and orchestral
instrumentation to create something that feels both deeply organic and distinctly futuristic.

Like Sun Ra, the afrofuturist visionary, Annastézhaa can be understood as a character as much as an artist—a futuristic,
mythical figure imagined as a traveler between realities, able to communicate with animals and bend light around her.
The music follows that same spirit: curious, strange, luminous, and always moving toward somewhere new.
Annastézhaa is putting together a touring circuit for pre-release performances and promotion ahead of the official
release of her album.
